Warranty Traction batteries

The right of complaint covers only manufacturing and material defects within the stated periods. If legitimate complaint, the goods can be exchanged, or reduced price by purchase new depending on the specific situation. The complaints provisions apply only on the following conditions:

• The products are treated in accordance with current maintenance and charging instructions  
• The battery capacity is highly taken once a day (1 "cycle") with a maximum of 80% of 5-hour capacity - maintenance-free traction batteries up to a maximum of 75%.
• The batteries are checked / refilled with approved batterywater after max 14 cycles.

GACELL A/S Maintenance-free tubular plate batteries
1 year 100% guarantee and 2 years pro rata

Extended warranty "Powerkit"
In the total purchase of "Powerkit", a GACELL tubular plate battery and a GACELL HF charger, an extended warranty is given:

•Battery, regular: 3 years with 100% warranty and 1-year pro rata
•Maintenance-free battery: 2 years with 100% warranty and 1-year pro rata
•Charger: 2 years with 100% warranty

GACELL A / S Monobloc Batteries
1 year 100% guarantee

Warranty content:
For all complaint provisions, these cover only the product supplied by GACELL A / S and do not cover any consequential damages. Complaint repairs do not extend the original warranty period.

The 100% period
In case of errors attributable to the warranty provisions, the defective part will be repaired free of charge if it’s within the 100% period. The warranty covers both labour and materials.

Pro rata period
Upon approved complaint, the defective item will be repaired and the customer will pay according to the relative elapsed period. By a common Pipe cell battery after 24 months. use, the customer will pay 24/48 of the total bill. For maintenance-free tube cell batteries, as in the example above, it will be 24/36.
When operating on multiple shifts to achieve 2 cycles per day, the pro rata amount is raised accordingly and in the example it will then be 48/48 of the total bill.
