We think about the environment
Batteries are a necessary product in a modern society for storage of energy.
Today's market requirements are not just to deliver the right battery, at the right time and at the right price. More than ever, it is appropriate to deliver a product of the right quality that also ensures a sustainable environment both now and in the future.
GACELL A / S therefore does not believe that quality and the environment as well as other trading conditions are one or but one and both.
In order to ensure a high uniform quality level and that the production is environmentally sound, all of our suppliers are certified according to one or more of the following standards:
• ISO 9002
• ISO 9001
• ISO 14001
• OHAS 18001
• ISO / TS16949
• SA 8000
Quality and environmental considerations are important requirements we make for all our suppliers.
GACELL A/S is a member of the environmental organization Returbat, which ensures optimal collection and recycling of used batteries.
EU chemicals legislation
The European Regulation (EC No 1907/2006) concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Prohibition of Hazardous Chemical Substances (REACH-ECHA) entered into force on 1 June 2007.
There are several steps involved in the approval, and the regulatory requirements vary according to product type / amount introduced in the EU.
As an importer and distributor, GACELL A/S does not have any pre-registration or registration obligation under the REACH Regulation.
Of course, GACELL A / S works closely with our suppliers to ensure that the necessary formalities regarding the chemical substances are met.
The REACH Regulation also includes disclosure requirements for products containing "particularly problematic substances" "Very High Concern Substance (SVHC)" with concentrations above 0.1% by weight.
Based on product data, none of GACELL A/S products contain such substances.
